How to manually remove GrowlMail plugin if safari 4 causes Mail to Crash

  • Quit Mail
  • Delete the GrowlMail plugin stored in your Library, here ~/Library/Mail/Bundles
  • Logout and log back in again.

    Thanks. Hadn't made the connection with Safari 4, but it's possible since I had just installed that when mail starting giving this startup error due to Growlmail.

    Thanks. I had been pulling my hair out. Seems I'm not alone in having Mail.app crash with GrowlMail errors after installing Safari 4. I hadn't made the connection until I read this.

    I just went from OS 10.5 to 10.6 and started getting this alert box; searched google for it, and came up with your page here; THANKS FOR PUTTING UP THIS INFO!
